Terms of Service

In these Terms:

• "Auto Assure", "we", "us", "our" means Auto Assure (ABN 92 684 189 008), which provides independent pre-purchase vehicle inspections.
• "Website" means https://aappi.com.au and any sub-domains.
• "Service" means the Auto Assure pre-purchase vehicle inspection service, booked through the Website.
• "Inspector" means a licensed mechanic engaged by Auto Assure to perform Inspection Services.
• "Inspection Services" means the pre-purchase vehicle inspection performed by an Auto Assure Inspector on a vehicle, resulting in a written report.
• "You", "your" means the natural person using the Website or booking an Inspection Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Australian law to use the Service. By using Auto Assure you confirm you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aappi.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep that information up to date.

Auto Assure provides independent pre-purchase vehicle inspections. Inspections are carried out by licensed mechanics we engage as Inspectors. We work for you, the buyer — we are independent of the seller and of any other party to the vehicle sale, and we do not sell vehicles.

When you book an Inspection Service, your agreement is with Auto Assure. We assign a qualified Inspector to carry out the inspection and deliver your report.

The price for a standard pre-purchase inspection is a flat AUD $199 — the same for any vehicle type and whether the inspection is mobile or at our Hendra inspection centre. The price is shown before you confirm, and we will advise you of the accepted payment methods at the time of booking.

If we are unable to carry out your inspection at the requested time, we will offer you an alternative time or a full refund of any amount paid. There are no hidden fees and no vehicle-type surcharges.

You may cancel a booking up to [TBC] hours before the scheduled inspection time for a full refund. Cancellations within [TBC] hours of the scheduled time may incur a [TBC]% cancellation fee to cover the reserved inspection time.

If Auto Assure cancels or cannot perform your inspection, you will receive a full refund or, where possible, we will rebook the inspection at no additional cost.

The Inspection Report is the written assessment produced by the Auto Assure Inspector, delivered via Auto Assure. The report is an opinion based on a visual and mechanical inspection performed at a single point in time.

The report is not a warranty or guarantee that the vehicle is fault-free, will not develop faults in the future, or is fit for any particular purpose. It is a tool to inform your purchase decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Auto Assure's liability for any claim relating to the Service or the Inspection Services is limited to the amount you paid for the Inspection Service in question.

The Inspection Report reflects the Inspector's professional opinion of the vehicle's condition at the time of inspection. To the extent permitted by law, Auto Assure is not liable for any decision you make about whether to purchase the inspected vehicle, or for faults that were not reasonably detectable during the inspection.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Website, the Auto Assure brand, and all related content (excluding the Inspection Reports authored by our Inspectors) are the intellectual property of Auto Assure or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish any part without our written permission.

Inspection Reports delivered to you are yours to keep, share, and use in connection with your vehicle purchase.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the version published on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email.
